Bike and wine tour Fortezze - Borgo Romantico Country Relais

Every last Saturday of the month at 9:00am we start from Borgo Romantico, with a half-day guided tour in company to discover villages, vineyards and places of great beauty. At the end of the tour, if you like, you can choose between a wine tasting, a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, a sandwiches or an aperitif (extra) 😉
The proposal is open to everyone, by reservation by Thursday at 6:00pm

VINEYARDS AND FORTRESSES TO EAST

The itinerary proposes about 30 km of cycle paths, dirt and country roads, between the Caprino and the Adige Valley. Napoleon has his first major victory here, against a fivefold Austro-Hungarian army rushing to the aid of the city of Mantua, surrounded by French soldiers. After him, four fortresses and a monument testify the history of the last centuries, to take us to the cultivated plain and to the current history, made up of excellent wines and districts to discover.
Flat first part; second part uphill and stony descent, which we will do calmly; return uphill and stony descent, flat return with final climb to return to Cavaion, where the Wine Bar Cafè awaits us.
If you don't have a bike, book it in advance. We are waiting for you with great enthusiasm 🚴 ♂️🥂

Route: 30 km for Mtb EMtb Gravel bikes
Includes: bike tour with departure and arrival at the Borgo accompanied by an expert guide, insurance, photos during the tour
Departure: meeting at 8:45 at Borgo Romantico | brief description and departure at 9:00 | return at about 12:30
Duration: 3.5 hours. The goal is to enjoy nature, the local area, being together, sport; it's not a race.
Difference in height: 700 meters total between climbs and descents
Difficulty: 6 out of 10. Easy-medium based, also for families with children aged 14 and over. It is important to know how to ride on dirt roads and narrow streets.
What to bring: own bike in good condition, helmet, bike shorts, cycling or gym shoes, T-shirt, sunglasses, a bottle of water and snacks, spare cameradaria, duster taking into account the weather conditions.
